Cor's Take

Hi Lovelies!

Here is an introduction to the blog in the words of my best friend, Cordelia Kotin.

It made be said the the eyes are the window to the soul. But what
about people who wear glasses? Are their souls shielded from
experiencing life like the visiting center in a maximum security
prison? And sunglasses? I don't even know what those are a simile for.
I propose this: shoes are the window to the soul. You can tell
everything about a person from their shoes. Are the cheap or
expensive? Comfortable or...uncomfortable? Stylish? Frumpy? A
classical penny loafer compares drastically to sky high Christian
Louboutin? Do not get me started on unisex shoes. I will say one word,
Lesbians.
Lesbians could at least share their shoes, if they were the same
size. I would be an awful lesbian, because my feet are freakishly
large. Katie's feet are redic small, which could be like a ying/yang
thing. We also have completely different tastes in shoes (and
everything...) and we're not lesbians (sadly because then we would
have found our soul mates). Finding the right shoes are like finding
your soul mate. They have to be comfortable you can wear them without
worrying about getting you toe pinched, or heel rubbed raw. They have
to compliment every outfit, a indicator of your mood. They can't be a
passing trend, or whim. This must be a purchase you will have no
buyers remorse over.
This blog is an foray to the world of Katie as she searches for that
right shoe. Not only a match to her own, but figuring out what her
shoe will look like. Is she a Jimmy Choo? A kitten heel, pointy toe? A
Mary Jane? Here Katie will also capture her struggles with leading a
fabulous life while confined to a small town, and all the adventures
that find her.
